Manchester United Under-18s star Manni Norkett does Erling Haaland AND Cristiano Ronaldo goal celebration after heading home against Manchester City

Manchester United U18s rubbed salt in Manchester City’s wounds as they copied Erling Haaland’s goal celebration on derby day.

But after emulating their rival’s superstar’s iconic meditation pose, the young Red Devils made sure to honour their club legend‘s celebration too – although it wasn’t the one you’d expect.

The Man United youth side beat their local rivals 3-2 away from home on Saturday afternoon, coming back from being 1-0 down at half-time.

And the Red Devils youngsters made sure to show who was boss in their victory, as forward Manni Norkett copied City’s first team topscorer Haaland’s celebration.

After heading home a cross in the second half to put his side into the lead, Norkett clearly had a plan on how best to honour his goal.

Running towards the camera man waiting to the left of the goal, Norkett edged beyond his on-rushing teammates and sat cross-legged on the floor and closed his eyes, looking just like Haaland.

But the 18-year-old wasn’t done there.

After completing the yoga pose, Norkett rose to copy his club’s own superstar, Ronaldo.

It wasn’t his iconic ‘SIUUU’ celebration, though, but the sleeping pose Ronaldo did away at Everton after he scored his 700th goal.

Clearly, the sleeping celebration only comes out for special occasions, then.

The Portuguese superstar scored the winning goal in United’s 2-1 victory at Goodison Park, latching onto an excellent pass from Casemiro before rifling the ball past Jordan Pickford to net his 700th goal.

And it was later revealed CR7’s celebration at Everton was amusingly a nod to the position in which he sleeps when travelling with the squad.
