Manchester United is currently leading the race to sign Randal Kolo Muani ahead of Bayern Munich this summer. The club is looking for a new striker and has made the Eintracht Frankfurt star one of the names under consideration. While Harry Kane is thought to be the club’s top target, United has no intention of entering a lengthy transfer saga with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who is adamant that Kane will not be sold this summer. Muani, who has scored 20 goals in 40 appearances this season, is another option, with Sky Germany reporting that he is a target United “rank higher” than Victor Osimhen, the Napoli star who is also on their radar. Bayern Munich has opened talks with Muani’s representatives over a move to keep him in the Bundesliga, negotiations which have been described as “very positive”. However, it is United who are currently pushing hardest to sign the France international. Muani impressed at the World Cup in Qatar last year, with Paris Saint-Germain also linked with a move. Frankfurt, however, are looking for a €100million (£89m) fee for their prized asset, with no agreements in place for Muani’s future.
