Manchester United star Casemiro returns to full training ahead of Champions League clash
Manchester United star Casemiro returned to full training today as the side prepare for their Champions League clash against FC Copenhagen.
The Brazilian missed Saturday’s win against Sheffield United after being advised to remain in Brazil after the international break. Casemiro injured his ankle in a draw against Venezuela and was a doubt for a game against Uruguay five days’ later. However, he started in the 2-0 defeat but suffered a swollen ankle as a result.
Sofyan Amrabat started at the base of United’s midfield on Saturday in Casemiro’s absence and he’s likely to do so again against Copenhagen. That’s because Casemiro is suspended following his red card in a 3-2 defeat against Galatasaray last time out.
