    Manchester United take on Premier League top four rivals Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final this afternoon.

    The two sides have made the long journey down to Wembley to go head-to-head for the first piece of silverware this season. 

    Newcastle will be looking to end their 54-year trophy drought to lift the Carabao Cup this afternoon while Man United haven’t won a title since the Europa League in 2017. 

    Eddie Howe’s side beat Southampton 3-1 on aggregate in their semi to reach their first cup final since 1999.

    And the Toon will be taking on Erik ten Hag’s in-form Red Devils after they beat Nottingham Forest 5-0 over their two-legged clash.
