Manchester United, fresh off the back of winning the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 win over Newcastle in the final on Sunday afternoon, go straight into FA Cup action on Wednesday.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has done a fantastic job at Old Trafford so far, winning the first trophy on offer to him, which was also the first trophy that United have won since they won the Europa League in 2017 under Jose Mourinho.

The win means United have now lost just one of their last 20 matches in all competitions, and are still in a very good position to fight for all three of the other trophies to be won this season.

The next challenge is an FA Cup fifth round tie at home to West Ham, who have struggled to find any decent run of form this season.

Managed by former Man Utd manager David Moyes, the Irons managed to climb out of the relegation zone on the weekend with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest for their biggest win of the season.

The east London club have now lost just one of their last seven matches in all competitions ahead of Wednesday’s clash at Old Trafford, where they did beat Man Utd in a Carabao Cup clash last season.

The Red Devils have won six of the last seven meetings between the two sides though, and will be strong favourites to make it to the last eight of the this season’s FA Cup.
