Manchester United are reportedly close to signing Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae, with the club having already found a house for the South Korean international in the Alderley Edge area. The 26-year-old only joined Napoli last summer in a £16m deal from Fenerbahce and played a key role in their Serie A title success. United are set to take advantage of a release clause in Kim’s contract, which is active during the first two weeks of July, for a fee thought to be between £51m and £56m. Recent reports suggest that Kim has agreed personal terms with United and the deal is “practically concluded”. The club has agreed to pay the fee upfront but also enquired about a possible deal that would have seen Victor Lindelof move in the opposite direction to reduce the fee. However, Napoli want the full fee paid.
