MANCHESTER U . s . icon Rio Ferdinand has shared recollections of his boozy first pre-season tour like a pro.
Ferdinand, 43, is regarded as the greatest ever Premier League defender by SunSport readers.
He spoke on his Vibe with Five podcast about his summary of pre-season tours using the Hammers.
He stated: “The youthful kids see, live and breathe the way a first team player really lives, it’s beautiful for that youthful kids.
“I’ve tried it myself with West Pork, which was great.
“We went somewhere like Scotland and, to become fair, in those days it was not as professional and so i was watching what not get it done.
“Players were being prepared for an evening out, getting their finest clothes, getting their finest dancing footwear.
“There is a whip round in the finish from the tour to take an exciting dayer as well as an all nighter at West Pork.

“You usually had your dancing footwear on.
