Lisandro Martinez Nears Comeback, Potentially Saving Manchester United from Defensive Reinforcements
Positive Update on Lisandro Martinez’s Recovery
Manchester United may not need to seek defensive reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window as Lisandro Martinez is closing in on a comeback. The Argentine defender recently provided an optimistic update on his rehabilitation progress.
In an interview with MUTV, Martinez expressed his satisfaction with the recovery process, stating, “I’m really good. Really good, honestly. My rehab is going amazing and the way that I want, feeling strong. Doing everything right, with the physio, he’s amazing and the medical staff have taken care of me.”
Supporting the Team from the Sidelines
Although Martinez admitted that it is strange for him to be sidelined and unable to contribute on the pitch, he emphasized the importance of accepting this part of his journey and supporting the team in any way possible.
He explained, “That was really important and all is perfect for me. Honestly, it’s strange for me because I love to be on the pitch fighting with the team, fighting with our fans, but we have to accept this part [watching while injured], support the team, helping whenever they need me.”
Martinez also highlighted his role in providing advice and maintaining a positive mindset within the team. He stated, “Doing some advice as well and being positive because it’s important to bring good energy to the team. That’s my mentality as well, to keep everyone sharp with the spirit that our club demands.”
A Selfless Approach
Despite his own setback, Martinez expressed his willingness to assist anyone in need, regardless of their position or role within the team. He said, “So I try always to help the team. I always try to help everybody, I always look after everything around me, maybe giving advice or experience, I will try to help and it doesn’t matter who.”
With Martinez’s recovery progressing well and his commitment to supporting the team unwavering, Manchester United may be able to rely on his return instead of seeking defensive reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window.
