Manchester City’s Financial Fair Play Case: Premier League Sets Trial Date
The Premier League has scheduled a trial date to address Manchester City’s financial fair play case. Last February, the Treble winners were hit with 115 charges by the league regarding financial irregularities.
Richard Masters, the CEO of the Premier League, has confirmed that a date has been set for the hearing. However, he did not provide any further details regarding the trial.
City and Premier League officials have been engaged in discussions for several months to determine when the hearing for the alleged violations will take place.
It is speculated that the trial will commence in the autumn, which means Manchester City may not receive a verdict until the summer of 2025.
