Man City vs Real Madrid: Revenge in Bernabeu?

Date:

Real Madrid will be looking to avenge their heartbreaking defeat to Manchester City in last year’s Champions League semi-final when the two sides meet again at the Bernabeu Stadium. City had a 4-3 advantage and were leading 1-0 with only moments to go when Rodrygo stunned the visiting supporters with goals in the 90th and 91st minutes, before Karim Benzema completed the comeback in extra time. Despite this, City have been in fine form since their 1-0 loss to Tottenham on February 10, having gone 20 matches unbeaten with 17 wins and three draws. Real Madrid have also been in good shape since their 1-0 loss to Mallorca on February 5, having won 15 of their 22 matches since then. Erling Haaland is 16/5 to break the deadlock with his 52nd goal of the season, while Vinicius Jr is 10/3 with Bet Victor to hit the net at any time. A 2-1 City victory is 17/2 with William Hill. Meanwhile, Mawj, the 12/1 winning tip for Sunday’s 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, is now worth backing each-way at 20/1 with Unibet for the Oaks at Epsom at the start of next month, and Aidan O’Brien’s Auguste Rodin is 7/1 with Betway for the Derby at Epsom despite a bumpy ride in Saturday’s 2000 Guineas.
