The trophy presentation was delayed but the celebrations were well underway in the Manchester City dressing room. Kyle Walker praised the second-string players who stepped in and said that the team was not done yet and wanted to ensure an unprecedented treble. Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium has been a fortress for the champions this season with only Brentford and Everton managing to come away with anything other than a defeat. In 30 games there in all competitions, Pep’s superstars have racked up 100 goals.
