The race for the Premier League title is heating up, with Manchester City hot on the heels of table-toppers Arsenal. One key game between the two teams could define both their seasons. Currently, Arsenal sit five points ahead of Man City, who have two games in hand on the league leaders. However, after dropping points in three consecutive games and conceding seven goals, doubts are beginning to rise about Arsenal’s ability to hold off Man City’s challenge. The upcoming clash between the two teams at the Etihad Stadium on April 26th could be crucial. City have beaten Arsenal in each of their last seven clashes at the Etihad, while the Gunners have only won there once since 2010. Arsenal still have the advantage, but they have let Man City back into the race after dropping points against Liverpool, West Ham, and Southampton. Alongside the upcoming title clash at City, the Gunners also have to face Chelsea, Newcastle, and Brighton in their final few games. City, meanwhile, have to take on Chelsea, Brighton, and Everton away. Guardiola’s men may also struggle with fatigue and focus as they remain in three competitions, whereas the Gunners are only in one. City face a two-legged tie against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals and also meet Sheffield United in the FA Cup last four.
