MANCHESTER CITY and England defender John Stones has been spotted enjoying a holiday with pals in sunny Formentera.
Stones, 28, enjoyed another successful season with Man City under Pep Guardiola as City won another Premier League title, once again pipping Liverpool by just one point.
The central defender then linked up with Gareth Southgate and the rest of the England squad but had a far less productive time during the Three Lions UEFA Nations League games.
England failed to win a single game, with the worst run of form under Gareth Southgate coming to a head with a 4-0 drubbing against Hungary – a game where Stones was also sent off.
Following on from this Stones jetted off to enjoy some summer sun.
His location of choice, Formentera, is the smallest in Spain’s collection of Island’s known as the Balearics.

This collection includes the popular holiday destination Majorca, which plays host to Ibiza.
Stones is not the only Manchester City footballer to be spotted enjoying the summer sun abroad.
Fellow England international Jack Grealish has also been seen overseas, though the playmaker instead opted for a trip to Las Vegas.
They have been joined by Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who was pictured on a yacht with his family soaking up sun in Majorca.

Man United’s Fred also shared photos of him and his wife on holiday in the midfielder’s native Brazil.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte got in on the action as well, as he was pictured on a paddling board while Spurs confirmed Yves Bissouma as their third signing of the summer.
