Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was full of praise for Kevin de Bruyne after his side’s 4-1 victory over title rivals Arsenal in the Premier League. Guardiola described the Belgian midfielder as “special” after his impressive performance. De Bruyne scored one goal and provided two assists as City moved to within three points of league leaders Liverpool.
The victory was City’s sixth consecutive win in the league and Guardiola was delighted with his team’s performance. He said: “We played an incredible game, we were so aggressive and we created a lot of chances. Kevin de Bruyne was special, he was outstanding.”
