Man City 4-0 Chelsea LIVE REACTION: ‘Simply sensational’ as Citizens ease through in FA Cup after Mahrez, Alvarez and Foden goals while Blues ‘are rubbish’ with Potter under pressure

Manchester City beat Chelsea 4-0 to progress through to the FA Cup fourth round, setting up a clash with Oxford or Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola’s side dominated from the first whistle at the Etihad Stadium and took the lead through a superb Riyad Mahrez free-kick.

Julian Alvarez marked his return from the World Cup with a goal from the penalty spot before Phil Foden tapped in a third before half time.

Mahrez then scored his second of the game as he tucked away a penalty of his own late on.

The result leaves Chelsea with only one win in seven and after yet another poor performance, manager Graham Potter is under huge pressure.
