Interim manager Sam Allardyce was pleased with the way his Leeds side reacted in the second half of their 2-1 defeat to Premier League leaders Manchester City. Despite going two goals down early on, Leeds fought back and were unfortunate not to take something from the game. Allardyce said: “We showed great character and determination to get back into the game and we could have even snatched a point at the end. We have to take the positives from this performance and use it as a platform for the rest of the season.”
