Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez: “He Offers Us So Much”

Date:

Luis Diaz has praised his Liverpool team-mate Darwin Nunez, saying he knows “just how good a player” he is. Diaz and Nunez have both struggled with the language barrier since joining the club, but Diaz has managed to form close relationships with Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott despite not understanding them. Meanwhile, Nunez has slotted in comfortably within the squad, but recently Klopp has admitted his lack of English has been a problem. Diaz and Nunez have been learning together at the AXA Training Centre, and Diaz believes that Nunez can “contribute massively” at Liverpool. Diaz has also said that his team-mates have helped him to settle in quickly, making him feel comfortable and at ease. He believes that this will be true for Nunez as well, and that it will help him to settle in much more quickly.
