First Half
The match got off to a fast start as Liverpool pressed forward early on. Salah had a great chance in the fourth minute but his shot was blocked by the West Ham defense. The Reds kept up the pressure and in the 10th minute they were rewarded with a goal from Nunez. The goal was set up by a great pass from Mac Allister and Nunez made no mistake with his finish.
West Ham responded well and had a few chances of their own but were unable to capitalize. In the 20th minute Liverpool had another chance as Salah was played through on goal but his shot was saved by Areola in the West Ham goal.
The game continued to be an end-to-end affair with both teams creating chances. In the 30th minute West Ham had a great chance to equalize but Antonio’s shot was saved by Alisson in the Liverpool goal.

The second half started much like the first with Liverpool pressing forward and looking for a second goal. In the 50th minute they almost got it as Salah’s shot hit the post. West Ham responded well and in the 55th minute they had a great chance to equalize but Antonio’s shot was saved by Alisson.
The game continued to be an open affair with both teams creating chances. In the 65th minute Liverpool had another chance as Salah was played through on goal but his shot was saved by Areola in the West Ham goal.

The Reds were dominant throughout the match and created numerous chances but were unable to capitalize on them. West Ham put up a good fight and had their own chances but were unable to find the back of the net.
