Liverpool thrash Leeds 6-0 with dramatic stoppage-time moment that had Jurgen Klopp shouting “Oh my God” from dugout.

Date:

Liverpool put on an impressive display against Leeds on Monday night, scoring six goals in a dominant win. The victory was a much-needed boost for the Reds, who have had a frustrating season so far. The goals came from braces by Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota, as well as goals by Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez. However, despite the impressive performance, Jurgen Klopp’s favourite moment of the match was not one of the goals, but rather a piece of hard graft from four of his players in stoppage-time. After Luis Diaz lost the ball, Nunez, Thiago Alcantara, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Jota worked together to win it back, showcasing their counter-pressing skills. Klopp praised the team’s performance, calling it their best game of the season so far. While a top-four finish may still be out of reach for Liverpool, their display against Leeds shows that there is still life in the squad.
