Dominik Szoboszlai opens up on feeling lonely since Liverpool transfer
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has revealed he has struggled with feeling lonely at points since his summer move to the Premier League.
The Hungarian international moved to Liverpool from German club RB Leipzig in a £60million deal and has immediately proved himself to be a crucial cog in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield set-up.

‘I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel lonely sometimes,’ he said in an interview with Hungarian podcast Premier Leak.
‘There are days when I’m just sitting on the couch wondering about what to do. Then I put on a movie and try to fall asleep, hoping for tomorrow.’
Szoboszlai Remains Positive About On-Field Performances
Despite such struggles, Szoboszlai was positive about his on-field performances having played every minute of Liverpool’s Premier League campaign so far this season and reiterated his desire to throw himself into the footballing project at Anfield.
‘Personally, I want to play in every game, even if I’m a bit tired,’ he added. ‘Anything, whether it’s the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Premier League, national team, anything.
‘I’m in a good condition when I’m constantly needed, I’m in the best condition when I can play on Thursday and Sunday.
‘Because then there’s no training, recovery, concentration, match, recovery, match, and this goes on and on, and this is perfect for me.’
