Liverpool Leading Race for 18-Year-Old Brazilian Star
Liverpool is reportedly leading the race to sign 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras. The youngster has caught the eye of several big European clubs, but it seems that the Reds are the most interested in securing his services.
Guilherme has already made a name for himself in the Palmeiras midfield, with 19 appearances in the Brazilian Serie A last year and featuring in the Copa Libertadores. He has also represented Brazil at the Under-20 level, showing his potential on the international stage.
Although he has yet to score a senior goal for Palmeiras, Guilherme was prolific in the youth ranks, scoring over 40 goals in a tournament in Japan. Palmeiras’ youth director, Joao Paulo Sampaio, praised the youngster’s talent, describing him as a “very special player.”
In addition to Guilherme, Liverpool is also keeping an eye on Moroccan teenager Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, who impressed at the Under-17 World Cup last year. The 17-year-old currently plays for the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Morocco.
It seems that Liverpool is looking to bolster their squad with young talent from around the world, and Guilherme and Ait Boudlal could be exciting additions to the team. Keep an eye on Liverpool’s transfer moves as they continue to scout promising young players like these two rising stars.
