Liverpool made a meal of their three-goal lead as they took on Tottenham at Anfield, with a wild second half playing out for a 4-3 victory. Goals from Curtis Jones and Luis Diaz in the first five minutes gave Liverpool an early two-goal lead, before Mo Salah converted a penalty on his 300th appearance for the club. Harry Kane pulled one back for Tottenham just before half time, but it was Heung-min Son who equalised in the 77th minute. Richarlison then looked to have secured a point for Spurs with a stoppage-time equaliser, only for Diogo Jota to score a dramatic winner for Liverpool in the fourth minute of added time.

However, Spurs fought back in the second half with Heung-min Son scoring in the 77th minute and Richarlison equalising in stoppage time. But it was Diogo Jota who had the last laugh as he scored a dramatic winner for Liverpool in the fourth minute of added time. The result sees Liverpool move up to fifth in the Premier League table. Their next match is against Fulham at Anfield on Wednesday 3rd May.
