Lionel Messi rejects world record Saudi Arabia offer and Barcelona return, signs with Inter Miami

Date:

Lionel Messi has turned down a world record offer from Saudi Arabia to instead join Inter Miami. The Argentine footballer rejected Al-Hilal and a return to Barcelona to sign with the MLS franchise co-owned by David Beckham. Messi, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of June, was offered an incredible £522m by Al-Hilal, which is more than what Cristiano Ronaldo is earning at Al-Nassr. Barcelona also attempted to bring him back to the club, but Messi is now set to join Inter Miami. His deal will include collaborations with brands such as Adidas and Apple.
