The award reads “Player of the Season” on one side and “Lionel Messi” on the other. Fans have been praising Messi for his generosity, with one person saying that the Argentina team is like one big family. Messi won the World Cup alongside Paredes in December, and PSG are currently eight points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table. However, Messi is being heavily linked with a return to Barcelona this summer, and there are also rumors of a £350-million-a-year move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal and an American switch to David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
