Constantine Hatzidakis, the linesman involved in the Andy Robertson ‘elbow’ incident during Liverpool’s match against Arsenal on April 9, will return to on-field duty next weekend. Hatzidakis was stood down for one round of matches after appearing to elbow the full-back during the game. Following an FA investigation, Hatzidakis was cleared of any wrongdoing and made his return to duties during Preston’s clash with Blackburn last Saturday. He will resume normal duties this weekend when Manchester United host Aston Villa, assisting referee Jarred Gillett. Before that, he will turn out as assistant VAR for Leicester City’s match against Leeds on Tuesday.
