Brighton defender Lewis Dunk has withdrawn from the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers due to a niggling injury. Dunk expressed his disappointment at missing out on the opportunity to represent his country but stated that he did not want to jeopardize England’s chances by playing while injured. He thanked England manager Gareth Southgate for his understanding and support. Jude Bellingham will also miss the games due to a knee injury, but he will continue his rehabilitation at the national football centre.
