Mykhailo Mudryk Can Become One of the Best Players in the World, Claims Chelsea Teammate Levi Colwill

Mykhailo Mudryk has had a difficult start to life at Chelsea since joining in an £89 million deal from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window. But the Ukraine international finally got off the mark in his 21st Premier League appearance on Monday night as he scored Chelsea’s opener in their 2-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Levi Colwill, who provided the assist for Mudryk’s first Chelsea goal, is confident the Ukrainian can flourish at Stamford Bridge after a difficult start. “He’s a great player,” said Colwill. “He can be one of the best in the world.”

Colwill believes that Mudryk has all the qualities to become one of the world’s best players. “He’s got everything you want as a winger and as a player,” said Colwill. “It’s tough coming in from Ukraine to Chelsea. There’s a lot of pressure that he may not have experienced, a different culture and other things together.”

The defender is confident that Mudryk can kick on from his first goal and become a great player at Chelsea. “It was always going to be tough to hit the ground running but in the first half he was amazing,” said Colwill. “I’m so happy for him, you could see in the celebrations. He deserved that. Everyone can see the qualities he has and we see it all the time in training.”

Mudryk has been tipped for greatness since joining Chelsea and Colwill believes that he can now fulfil his potential at Stamford Bridge. The winger has all the attributes to become one of the best players in the world and with the right guidance and support, he could be set for a bright future at Chelsea.
