LEEDS are apparently set to appoint ex-Borussia Dortmund assistant Rene Maric as Jesse Marsch’s No2.
The Athletic claims Maric, 29, is placed to participate Leeds in a few days after departing Dortmund in May.
The Austrian offered as Marco Rose’s assistant using the Bundesliga giants last season.
Before that, he labored with Rose at Borussia Monchengladbach.
And Maric even stayed at Marsch’s former side RB Salzburg – although prior to the American’s appointment in 2019.
He become Leeds’ best choice after Marsch initially moved for Chris Armas.


The American was a part of Ralf Rangnick’s backroom staff at Manchester U . s . last term.
And Marsch, who also comes from america, was interested in getting a compatriot as his second-in-charge.
But Armas rejected the approach because of personal reasons.
Leeds needed a brand new No2 this summer time after Marsch’s previous assistant at Elland Road, Frankie Schiemer, opted to consider a consultancy role.
