ANTHONY GORDON’S transfer to Newcastle is complete, after leaked pictures revealed Gordon had signed a contract and met fans.
Newcastle are set to sign Gordon for £45million from Everton.
And while the official announcement is yet to be done, all the paperwork is understood to be signed and ready to go.
But photos showing Gordon signing his Magpies contract and leaving St James’ Park have emerged online.
It also seems the formalities were not the only thing on Gordon’s agenda.
The 21-year-old was pictured meeting fans during a shopping trip to the MetroCentre in Gateshead.
Gordon has struggled for form this season as Everton’s struggles continue to grow.
He scored three goals earlier in the campaign before refusing to turn up to training in recent days in order to force a move out of his boyhood club.
Regardless, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is understood to rate him, hence why Gordon has been on the club’s radar for so long.
The Toffees sit firmly in the relegation zone and are staring down the barrel of losing their Premier League status for the first time ever.
