Laura Woods playfully threatens to revoke Ally McCoist’s Chelsea ticket due to talkSPORT prank.

Date:

Laura Woods was the victim of a prank by her co-host and friend Ally McCoist on talkSPORT. McCoist joked about the recent trend of sportsmen flipping the question about ideal celebrity dates back on Woods, causing her to momentarily panic. Two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua had joked that Woods was the celebrity he would like to date after his fight with Jermaine Franklin. This came after Chelsea midfielder had revealed in an interview with talkSPORT that Woods was his celebrity crush, which Joshua laughed about in his response.

Before Joshua’s fight with Franklin, he had commented that singer Beyonce was his dream date, which led to a discussion between Laura and Ally. The Rangers legend said Ingrid Bergman, while Laura said it would be actor Leo Suter, who plays Harald Sigurdsson in Netflix show Vikings Valhalla. On Tuesday morning, McCoist pretended to welcome Suter live on air, causing Woods to believe she had been stitched up. However, it turned out to be a prank, and McCoist quickly changed his tune when he thought he might not get to go to the Chelsea vs Liverpool game.

Despite enjoying seeing Woods squirm, McCoist was most annoyed that the show’s producers had made attempts to invite Suter on to the show but didn’t go out of their way to help him. “Did you do the same with Cindy Crawford for me?” he asked. Poor Ally.
