Former Borussia Dortmund physio Thomas Zetzmann has revealed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp threatened to demote one of his goalkeepers to the second team after he suffered a bloody nose during training. Zlatan Alomerovic, the third-choice goalkeeper at the time, collided with a teammate during a training camp in Marbella, causing his nose to bleed. Klopp ordered him to get back up or face being sent to the reserves. Zetzmann recalled Klopp’s no-nonsense style on the training pitch and how he hated interruptions during training. Klopp later apologised for his behaviour and admitted he could have handled the situation differently.
