# Mohamed Salah Not for Sale Despite Interest from Saudi Arabia
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made it clear that forward Mohamed Salah is not for sale and is “100% committed to the club” despite speculation linking him with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Egyptian international has been a key player for the Reds since his arrival in 2017, scoring an impressive 91 goals in 142 appearances. He was also instrumental in helping Liverpool win the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League title in 2020.
However, recent reports have suggested that Salah could be on his way out of Anfield, with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal reportedly interested in signing him.
Klopp has now moved to quash those rumours, insisting that Salah is going nowhere and is fully committed to Liverpool.
## Salah’s Impressive Record at Liverpool
Since joining the Reds from Roma in 2017, Salah has established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League. He was the top scorer in his first season at Anfield, netting 32 goals in 36 appearances and winning the PFA Player of the Year award.
The following season, Salah scored 27 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions as Liverpool reached the Champions League final. He then scored 22 goals in 2019/20 as the Reds won their first league title in 30 years.
This season, Salah has scored 18 goals in all competitions and is on course to become the first Liverpool player since Ian Rush to score 20+ goals in three consecutive seasons.
## Klopp’s Message to Salah’s Suitors
Klopp was quick to dismiss any speculation linking Salah with a move away from Anfield, insisting that he is “100% committed” to Liverpool.
“He is not for sale,” said Klopp. “We are not a selling club and he is part of our plans for the future. He is happy here and we are happy with him. He is a world-class player and he is very important to us.”
The German manager also praised Salah for his professionalism and commitment to the club, adding: “He is a great professional and he always gives 100% for this team. He is a great example for all of our players.”
## Salah’s Future at Liverpool
With Klopp’s backing, it looks like Salah will be staying at Liverpool for the foreseeable future. The Egyptian international still has two years left on his contract and he appears to be happy at Anfield.
Salah has also been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent months, but it seems unlikely that he will leave Liverpool any time soon. The Reds are currently top of the Premier League table and are looking to defend their title next season.
With Salah in their ranks, they have a great chance of achieving that goal. The forward has been one of the best players in the league over the past few seasons and he will be crucial to Liverpool’s success going forward.
