# Jurgen Klopp Rejects Dual Management Role at Liverpool and Germany
Jurgen Klopp has been linked with the vacant Germany manager role following the departure of Hansi Flick, but the Liverpool manager has rejected any suggestion of a dual management role. Klopp is committed to his role at Anfield and is currently in the process of rebuilding the squad for a “Liverpool FC reloaded”.
## Klopp’s Commitment to Liverpool
Klopp has been in charge at Anfield since 2015 and has achieved great success during his tenure, including winning the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020. He signed a new four-year contract in 2022, tying him to the club until 2026.
Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has previously insisted that the Germany job was “not a topic for us at all”, but speculation has continued to link Klopp with the role. It had been suggested that Klopp would be allowed to continue his role as Liverpool manager until the end of this season if he were to agree terms with Germany, but this has been ruled out by Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
## Klopp’s Rejection of Dual Management Role
Plettenberg has described the option of dual management as “definitely out of the question” for Klopp. He added that it “also seems unrealistic” that he would quit his job on Merseyside. This is no surprise given Klopp’s ongoing work at Anfield, with a squad rebuild in process as the manager plots “Liverpool FC reloaded”.
Klopp himself has spoken about the “new start” at Anfield, saying: “We have this kind of new start with this ‘Liverpool FC reloaded’ if you want, and it’s an exciting thing. So everybody was asking for changes, rightly so because we were together for a long time and things went really well and then not that well any more and timing for a change is always one of the biggest challenges in life. Did it happen at exactly the right moment? It’s difficult to answer but now it happened and that’s good. It’s a new chance for everybody, everybody has to step up, the new leadership group and not only them.”
## Klopp’s Future at Liverpool
Klopp has made it clear that he is committed to his role at Liverpool and is determined to make the most of the “new start” at Anfield. He has rejected any suggestion of a dual management role and is focused on continuing his work at Liverpool. With Klopp at the helm, Liverpool are sure to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
