Klopp said that a successful season is one where his team is ready for all the games and can win 25-odd games, and that if City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, and Man United are all involved in that 25 then it is even better. He also said that getting 90-odd points is absolutely insane and no one should take these things for granted.
Klopp has been pleased with his squad’s response in the last six weeks, which has seen them win six matches in a row, their best sequence for more than a year. He said that he never questioned the boys and that their mentality is exceptional. He also said that it was a relief to go again and be winning again in a convincing way, and that he saw so many good things they could build on. He concluded by saying that all they can do is go for the last three games and make the best of what they have so far.
