Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has hinted at a potential move to Manchester United or Liverpool this summer, following the Dutch club’s asking price for the player. Timber has been a key player for Ajax and the Netherlands national team over the past three seasons, with his form in the Eredivisie attracting interest from Premier League rivals. United boss Erik ten Hag is keen to bring Timber to Old Trafford, but faces competition from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who is also looking to bolster his defensive options. While Timber admits there is a chance he could leave Ajax, he stressed that any move would have to fit his playing style and offer sufficient playing minutes. Ajax are reportedly seeking around £44m for the talented 21-year-old.
