Jude Bellingham scores stunning brace in big Bundesliga win for Borussia Dortmund as Liverpool and Manchester City make him transfer target

Jude Bellingham added two more goals to his impressive tally this term as he helped Borussia Dortmund to a 5-0 victory over VFB Stuttgart.

The 19-year-old had previously failed to net in the Bundesliga, having scored four times in the Champions League and two times in the DFB-Pokal.

But he’s now off the mark in the league and has now scored more goals than in any of his other previous seasons.

Dortmund have had a mixed campaign so far but bounced back from a defeat to league leaders Union Berlin last weekend with the victory.

It was the midfielder who opened the scoring after just two minutes of the game for his first Bundesliga strike since January.

However he didn’t have to wait long for the next as he grabbed his second after 53 minutes with a fine solo strike.

Picking the ball up on the edge of the area, Bellingham took on one defender before curling the ball home from the edge of the penalty area.

Those strikes took Bellingham’s tally to eight for the season as he looks to chip in after the sale of goal machine Erling Haaland.

Niklas Sule and fellow youngsters Giovanni Reyna and Youssoufa Moukoko rounded off the scoring.

Bellingham’s career is going from strength-to-strength this season and he’s likely to play a big role in England’s bid to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Meanwhile, clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester City continue to watch on as they plot transfer bids in the near future.
