His second defeat came in the UEFA Super Cup in 2017 when his Manchester United team were beaten 2-1 by Real Madrid in North Macedonia. Chelsea inflicted the third loss of Mourinho’s career when he took charge of Manchester United in the FA Cup final in 2018.
