He has won 18 out of the 21 finals he has contested as a manager, with his first defeat coming in the UEFA Super Cup with Chelsea in 2013. His second defeat came in the UEFA Super Cup in 2017 when his Manchester United team were beaten 2-1 by Real Madrid in North Macedonia. Chelsea inflicted the third loss of Mourinho’s career when he took charge of Manchester United in the FA Cup final in 2018. Mourinho has won all five of the European finals he has managed in, including the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010, as well as the Europa League with United in 2016/17 and the Europa Conference League with Roma last season.
