During his first appearance on Monday Night Football, Jamie Carragher called out Kasper Schmeichel for referring to Leicester as “we” while he was acting as a pundit for Sky Sports. Schmeichel, who left Leicester last summer after 11 years, was discussing the leaders in the dressing room ahead of the Foxes’ match against Everton. Carragher laughed and wagged his finger at Schmeichel, telling him that he couldn’t say “we” as a pundit. Schmeichel responded by saying that he wasn’t a pundit yet. The goalkeeper left Leicester for Nice last year, which is owned by Manchester United hopefuls INEOS.
