Jack Grealish has responded to criticism from Graeme Souness, who accused him of holding onto the ball for too long during his time at Aston Villa. Grealish, who is now one of the best players in the Premier League after joining Manchester City, said that the criticism still frustrates him. He explained that as a key player at Villa, he was often tasked with dictating play and keeping possession, and that Souness’s comments did not take into account the team’s tactics. Grealish added that he no longer pays attention to critics when he has played badly, but will watch and listen to commentary when he has played well.
