Jack Grealish trolls Graeme Souness as England star accepts offer of a night out… as long as he can bring Paul Pogba

JACK GREALISH has accepted Graeme Souness’ offer of a night out on the town… but only if he can bring along Paul Pogba.

The Manchester City and England man, 27, was recently described by the Sky Sports pundit as a “good player, not a great player”.

Grealish hit back at those comments while away on England duty by insisting: “I don’t know what his problem is, he always criticises me.”

Souness then replied by claiming he does not have anything against the former Aston Villa forward.

Speaking on talkSPORT, the Liverpool legend said: “I’d love a night out with him.

“I’m not sure I could stay with him but I think I would enjoy a night out with him.”

And now Grealish has taken him up on the offer.

Responding on social media, he said: “🤣🤣 let’s do it!! As long as I can bring Pogba as a +1.”

Grealish named Pogba as Souness has also famously slammed the ex-Manchester United midfielder over the years.

Man City man Grealish has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 45 appearances since arriving for £100million in the summer of 2021.

He has struggled to hit the heights he did at Villa during his first 12 months at the Etihad.

And Grealish admitted earlier this week that criticism from Souness is hard to shrug off.

He said: “It is difficult [to ignore] when he’s on Sky Sports and it’s everywhere around the training ground.

“He was a great player and won a lot but I don’t know what problem he’s got.

“I know he’s said a lot of stuff about me not moving the ball quicker but when I’m playing for a manager like Pep Guardiola and he’s telling me to keep the ball as much as I can and have balls to take it everywhere, that’s what I’ll try to do.

“I always watch my games back and I’m very critical of myself.

“I know that there were games, especially in the second half of last season, where I wasn’t at my best at all.

“I’ll always have people on my back. When I signed for City and the price that came with it, I knew it wasn’t going to all be laughs, unless I started the way Erling Haaland did. That’s the only way I wouldn’t get caned!”
