Manchester United will look to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Newcastle at the weekend in the home clash with Brentford this evening.

Erik ten Hag has seen United’s quest for Champions League football take a knock in recent weeks, with his team failing to win any of their previous three league fixtures and no goals scored in the process.

United’s opponents Brentford are also chasing European qualification for next season following their superb second term in the Premier League, with the Londoners sat just seven points behind the Old Trafford side in the table.

Here is everything you need to know about tonight’s game, including what time it kicks-off and if the match will be shown on TV anywhere in the UK.

What time does the game kick-off?

The match will take place tonight (Wednesday, April 5) at 8pm.

Is Manchester United vs Brentford on TV?

Manchester United vs Brentford will not be shown live on TV anywhere in the UK.

The game was originally due to be played on Sunday, February 26, but it was postponed with Manchester United featuring in the Carabao Cup final instead that day.

The fixture was not selected for TV coverage by either Sky Sports or BT Sport that weekend, meaning that tonight’s rearranged match will not be broadcast live in the UK.

Will the game be on the radio?

Thankfully, fans will be able to listen to Manchester United vs Brentford live on talkSPORT, with the coverage getting underway from 7pm.

What happened in the reverse fixture?

The earlier meeting between the two sides back in August will go down as one of the most iconic results in Premier League history, with The Bees emerging victorious in a 4-0 win.

All of the goals arrived in the first half, with strikes from Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo doing the damage inside 35 minutes.

The humiliating defeat was United’s seventh in a row away from home – their worst run since 1936.
