2023 Heisman Trophy Finalists Announced
The finalists for the prestigious 2023 Heisman Trophy have been revealed. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, and Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. have all been selected to attend the award ceremony in New York City on December 9.
Voting Deadline and Finalists Announcement
The voting deadline for the 89th Heisman Trophy was on November 27. The announcement of the finalists was made during ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown.”

Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels had an outstanding regular season for LSU, throwing for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns with only four interceptions. He also showcased his versatility by rushing for 1,134 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr. had an impressive season for Ohio State, recording 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also contributed with two carries for 26 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Bo Nix
Despite Oregon’s loss to Washington in the Pac-12 title game, Bo Nix had a remarkable season. He threw for 4,145 yards and 40 touchdowns with just three interceptions, completing an impressive 77.2 percent of his passes. Nix also added 228 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
Michael Penix Jr.
Michael Penix Jr. led Washington to a Pac-12 championship and secured a spot in the College Football Playoff. He passed for 4,218 yards, 33 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Penix also contributed three rushing touchdowns.
