Harry Mane Visits England’s Euro Team Hotel Featuring a Robot Waiter
England’s Euro 2024 team hotel has been revealed, and it is nothing short of luxurious. Our football mascot, Harry Mane, recently had the opportunity to visit the Weimarer Land Golf Resort and Spa in Germany, which will serve as the base for the England team during the tournament. Situated in Blankenhain, eastern Germany, this sprawling 350-acre leisure site offers everything the team needs to unwind and prepare for their matches.
The hotel, centrally located and with excellent air and rail links, was the top choice for England, beating out the host nation Germany for this coveted spot. The England team will be served by a dedicated team of 160 staff members, including a unique addition – a robot waiter named Robbie. With his flashing blue eyes and ability to speak German phrases such as “Excuse me” and “Please let me get on with my work,” Robbie is sure to add a touch of modernity and novelty to the dining experience.
During his visit, Harry Mane got a taste of the luxury that awaits the England players. He relaxed on one of the beds in the rooms where Harry Kane and his teammates will sleep during their glory bid. Harry also had the chance to try out some of the hotel’s amenities, such as the three picturesque golf courses nestled in the forest. These courses will provide the perfect setting for the England stars to relax between games and training sessions.
The hotel also boasts a Uefa-standard training pitch, where Harry Mane displayed his silky skills. Additionally, there is a spa complex for the players to enjoy some well-deserved rest and recovery. If England progresses towards the final in Berlin, Wags and families are expected to visit, and the hotel’s “Rabbit Club” will offer play activities for kids.
The Weimarer Land Golf Resort and Spa has undergone significant redevelopment by millionaire entrepreneur Matthias Grafe. The hotel features 94 timber-clad rooms with views of the surrounding pine forest. Guests can indulge in a variety of temptations, including crisp Warsteiner beer on draft, a selection of 300 fine wines, a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, and an opulent cigar lounge.
However, the Football Association (FA) will bring its own team of chefs and dieticians to ensure the players’ performance is maximized. The FA has signed an exclusive deal estimated at £800,000 for the use of the hotel and its facilities throughout the tournament. The hotel will undergo a transformation before the England stars arrive, with German adidas banners and livery being replaced by England’s sponsor Nike and Three Lions decor.
Owner Matthias Grafe expressed his delight at welcoming the England team and revealed that the German team initially wanted to be based at his hotel. However, due to contractual obligations with their adidas sponsors, they had to switch to a different location. Grafe’s loyalty lies with the team that wins the Euros, and he believes that team will be England.
Gareth Southgate, England’s manager, is reportedly impressed with the space and facilities offered by the Weimarer Land Golf Resort and Spa. The team will arrive eight days before their first game against Serbia on June 16th, giving them ample time to settle in and prepare for their campaign.
England’s Euro 2024 team hotel is set to provide the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation for the players. With top-notch amenities, a dedicated staff, and even a robot waiter, the stage is set for England to make a strong bid for European glory. Only time will tell if this luxurious base can help elevate the Three Lions to victory.
