Harry Kane, the Tottenham striker, may be headed for a confrontation with the club over his future. The 29-year-old has reportedly expressed his unwillingness to leave the Premier League this summer. Kane scored 30 league goals in a superb individual campaign, despite Tottenham’s struggles, with the club finishing eighth and missing out on Europe. Kane has only one year left on his contract with Tottenham and is Erik ten Hag’s top target to bolster Manchester United’s frontline. However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has no desire to sell Kane to a Premier League rival and may reject offers in excess of £100m, despite potentially losing the forward on a free transfer in a year’s time.
