Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that the club’s bosses expect him to deliver a Champions League trophy. The team will face Real Madrid in the first leg of their European encounter on Tuesday night. Guardiola, who has won the competition twice as a coach, said he felt the pressure to win the tournament when he arrived at City. He added that he was confident of breaking the club’s duck, despite the fact that Real Madrid had won the competition 14 times compared to City’s one final appearance. Guardiola also said that he believed City would eventually win the trophy.
