The latest setback in Thomas Partey’s fitness has also increased pressure on Havertz and Jorginho, whose contract is nearing its end.

Despite the challenges, Arsenal is reportedly planning a renewed attempt to sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa. The club had previously tried to secure his signature 14 months ago but was unsuccessful.
