Former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf has criticised Raheem Sterling’s performance this season and called for the club to sign Declan Rice. Sterling has scored just six Premier League goals this season, despite scoring 131 goals in 339 appearances for Manchester City before his £50m move to Chelsea last summer. Leboeuf said he had “not changed his mind” that Chelsea targeted the wrong player last summer, and that Sterling was “not a leader” and “quite clumsy”. He also urged Chelsea to sign West Ham and England midfielder Rice, who he described as “strong, clever, technically good, physically a monster, and tactically very useful”.
