Frank Lampard praises Noni Madueke for goal at Arsenal and sends message to Chelsea players.

Date:

Noni Madueke scored his first goal for Chelsea during their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday night, earning special praise from manager Frank Lampard. The 21-year-old winger was named in the starting line-up for the first time since February and scored his first goal for the club since his £29m switch from PSV Eindhoven in January. Despite the loss, Lampard insisted that Madueke was a positive on an otherwise torrid evening for the Blues, who are now on an eight-match streak without a win. Lampard also stressed the importance of everyday habits and desires in order to return to the standard of top clubs like Chelsea.
