Former Man Utd target and Premier League cult hero set for MLS move

Date:

Teemu Pukki, a cult hero of the Premier League, may be on his way to the MLS as a free agent after leaving Norwich City at the end of the season. The Finnish striker spent five years with the Canaries and helped them achieve two promotions to the Premier League since joining from Brondby in 2018. During his time at the club, he scored 88 goals in 204 appearances. Now searching for a new club, Pukki could move across the Atlantic to MLS outfit Minnesota United, who are looking to improve their attacking options. According to Pioneer Press, the club is “nearing the signing” of the striker. Although Pukki had previously expressed his desire to return to the Premier League, it seems like he is set to move to the MLS. He cannot officially join Minnesota United until the opening of their summer transfer window on July 5.
