Man United have made an offer to sign Christian Eriksen, according to reports.

The midfielder, 30, is available on a free at the end of the month with his Brentford contract expiring.

And now United are looking to take advantage of his contract situation by offering the Danish international a deal, report The Athletic.

Meanwhile, Nemanja Matic is officialy an AS Roma player.

The 33-year-old Serb, who was released by Man Utd, has been snapped up by former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho for the THIRD time.

Elsewhere, Man United’s value has dropped by a startling £1.3BILLION after shares fell to a record low on Monday.

At the close on June 13, the Red Devils‘ shares were trading at $11.07, compared with $15.66 just 12 months earlier.

In other news, Paul Pogba is on the brink of completing his switch to Juventus.

The France ace has nearly agreed a contract with Juve, with a few minor details to be sorted, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He’s set to receive £6.9m plus add-ons every season he spends in Turin, the report adds.

Also, Frenkie de Jong has shut down rumours linking him away from Barcelona amid interest from Man united.

He said, via journalist Tom Collomosse: “You’re always flattered when teams show interest in you as a player.

“But I am at the biggest club in the world at the moment.

“I feel fine there [at Barça], so… no news.”

Finally, Darwin Nunez has opened up on why he chose to join Liverpool over Man United.

He said: “You can then imagine yourself winning more trophies and then later on when you come here again and see the trophies on display, you can say, ‘Look, I was a part of that, I was there at that time, winning trophies.’

“That’s one of the reasons why I came here to Liverpool – to win trophies and titles. I want to win a lot of trophies at Liverpool.”
